Programme summary

Pim Slot (SURFmarket) and Peter Szegedi (Géant) will start the seminar with an overview of licensing models and of openly licensed video content produced by European higher education institutions.
Next, representatives of three platforms will each give a presentation of what they are offering: the Dutch Institute of Sound and Vision, VideoArts and Lynda.com/LinkedIn Learning. Each presentation is followed by a use case of a Dutch university for applied sciences or University, and is wrapped-up by a small group discussion.

The programme closes with a 30-minute panel discussion in which we reflect on the question: ‘What is the benefit of paid video-content opposed to free and open content?’
